Passing Out Parade of the 7th Batch of Navigational Officer Cadets

The ceremonial passing out of the 7^th Batch of Navigation Officer Cadets was held at the MSTI Officer Training Centre on 15^th November.

Parents and family proudly participated in the festivities. The 18 Cadets who had completed their Pre-Sea training were all anxious to take the next steps in their training – that of sailing on their very first ship.

The Navigation Officer Training Programme is conducted together with the Western Australia Maritime Training Centre (WAMTC) in Fremantle and offers Young school leavers to become Officers qualified in Sri Lanka or Australia.
