Bosun Training
The 3rd BOSUN Course was successfully concluded on 30th November at the Mercantile Seamen Training Institute (MSTI).
Experienced ABs aspiring to become Bosuns were imparted the management and technical skills over intensive 2 week period.
The programme was drawn up from our own experience to provide the management skills to the participants and give them an edge over the ABs who had traditionally been promoted to Bosun and were left to their own resources acquire the necessary skills.
