Training
The
Mercantile Seamen Training Institute (MSTI) is the jewel in the crown of Mercantile Marine Management. MSTI having been established in 1986 has a long history and has over the years provided us with excellent seamen who have gone on to be Officers and Masters on our vessels.
We train aspiring young men to become confident Seamen be it as an Officer or a Rating. The dual system training with theoretical training ashore and practical experience onboard covers the traditional maritime subjects and additional subjects ranging from Leadership and team building to Personal Hygiene and ship security awareness. English being the medium of instruction and communication ensures that all trainees are proficient.
